Dave's paintings have been displayed in over 100 exhibitions receiving
many top awards. Some of his special achievement awards are: Design
Award - Pratt Graphic Art Institute, Merit Award - Ohio House of
Representatives and a Portrait of Susan Perkins, (Miss America 1978).
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Dave began painting seriously when he was in
high school.

Beginning and Intermediate Acrylic:
A look of oil with a touch of watercolor. Acrylics are water base plastic paints
with no odor or the need for any solvents. If you had a fear of learning to
paint the acrylics are for you. Mistakes can be fixed within minutes. Acrylics
give you a lot of freedom and creativity as you work. Able to change things as
you go. You will be amazed at the things you can do with acrylics.
Beginning Watercolor:
This program offers the excitement of watercolor painting. You will learn color
mixing, values and many different techniques, but most of all you will learn the
magic of watercolor. If you are ready to make a little magic, then this is your
chance. Watercolor is a translucent paint which has no odor or the need for any
solvents.
Intermediate Watercolor:
For the more experienced watercolorist. This will kick your painting level up a
notch. If you know the basics of which end of the brush to use, this class is
for you. It will build your confidence and add finesse to your painting. You
will learn and enhance your knowledge of composition, color, rhythm, balance and
light.
