Glass Etching

(sample picture only – yours will look different depending on what supplies are used)

YOU ARE INVITED!!

Once a month we are getting together to share the love of crafting.  One month we’ll do something with mosaics –one month we might do a jewelry project or something with clay – wood or glass.  We never know what we will do and there is never any long term commitment on your part.

Check out our web page at http://coffeebreakpottery.biz to see the past projects we’ve done!

We are teachers and students who want to teach and learn.  You might learn from us and we might learn from you – what fun!

When: Sunday January 17, 2010

Time: 11am – 4pm

Cost: $5.00 cash (payable at sign up)

Where: Coffee Break Pottery

             4046 Knapp Dr. Grove City

What we will provide: Stencils – brushes – etching cream.

There will also be glass bases that can be purchased for a nominal cost from Mary

What you should provide: Glass item if you want it different from what you can buy from Mary –                plastic  gloves and a painters mask if you think you’ll need it.

(the etching cream does have an odor and it  is  a very caustic substance – it’s a type of acid)

Note:  ***This is a learning technique – if you choose to buy something different please keep the item flat – if you’ve never done glass etching before you may have some difficulty on a rounded surface
